Materials

The Max’s handle is constructed from sandblasted aluminum and the shoulder is made from stamped aluminum with a glossy finish. The razor’s head is constructed from diecast zinc. 

The Max’s cartridge is made of ABS plastic with an electroplated finish.

How to Use Your New Single Edge Max

Step 1: Your Grip Matters

The grip on your razor defines its pressure on your face. We recommend “pinching” the triangular head of the razor with your thumb and forefinger, or holding the razor farther down on the handle.

Step 2: Keep it Light

No pressure! Unlike the SE, where you may have had to play with the angle for the best shave, the Max is a lot more forgiving. It’s designed to do the work for you, making for an even easier shave without having to press down hard.

Step 3: Feel the Glide

The Max should glide easily through your facial hair. If you notice any tugging, you may need to trim your hair down to avoid it getting stuck underneath the blade.

Step 4: Love Your Shave

Continue to shave as needed, for the rest of your life. One razor, a lifetime worth of results.

Pro Tip: If you notice shaving cream building up under the head of the Single Edge Max, we recommend rinsing the head of the razor under warm water to break up the excess product. For a deeper rinse, pop open the head of the razor with your thumb, rinse the flat plane thoroughly, and shave normally.

Q: Will my existing blades from Supply work with the Single Edge Max?

A: Yes, the blades themselves are the same, but the injector you use with the SE or Pro won’t work with the Max's cartridge system. If you already have Supply blades in an injector, you can eject them manually and load them into the Max cartridge by hand. It's easy and takes just a few seconds.

Great with good blades

I initially gave a 2 star review. I discovered the problem was with the blades, not the razor. Supply customer support read my review and had replacement blades ordered (free) that same day. Excellent customer service and the razor gives a comfortable shave now.

Honestly the BEST Shave Ever..Love the SE, but nothing better than the MAX

This is THE BEST Razor! I have the SE and the Max and both are terrific. The shave is smooth; cuts close with no irritation. I actually find it hard to believe how quick I can shave in the morning and how smooth my face is after I shave. I have two SE's and two Max Razors so I can take them when I travel.

Great shave, quick and easy.

A few years ago I tired of the expense of the big corporation multi blade system and switched to electric. The electric was easy but not a close enough shave. Decided to give the single blade a try and chose Supply. I'm glad I did. It is a quality product and design and delivers a close smooth shave.

Wow!

Just completed my first shave with the Max. Wow! I wear a full beard, but I like to keep my neck clean. I have been disappointed by disposable razors and electric razors, but with the Max, my neck is smooth and clean. I was a bit concerned about the cost, but now, I am fully onboard now.

Single edge max review

It has become my daily shaver. The blade lasts quite a bit longer than I expected. My facial hair is very course so I tend to run through blades fast. Great razor

Took me a few times of using it to get used to the new way of shaving, but now my face hasn't been smoother.
The razor has stayed sharp for 2 weeks (I shave every other day) so this will save me a ton on refills alone.

Cool product

Tried this product because I got too many cuts and razor bumps with multi blade cartridge. Really love the pivot. At first it take a bit of relearning to get the zero pressure down. After 2-3 shaves it is clear it’s the best on the market. No irritation is the best thing.

Best so far!

This is my 3rd razor from Supply, and the design improvements just keep getting better and better. My absolute favorite feature of this newest razor variant is the locking system that holds the blade in place, which prevents the blade from sliding back and forth, something that bothered me with previous versions. The amount of blade exposure is satisfying and held at a perfect angle for a nice, smooth, and comfortable shave. All these new features, combined with the new magnetic flex head, shows a lot of thought was put into redesigning this product where it counts. Very happy to be able to grow with this company as they enhance my shaving experience with each new product!
