Do I have to use this shaving cream with the Single Edge?
While our shaving cream isn't required for a successful shave with the Single Edge, we recommend using one that will provide a rich, coushiony lather to protect your skin from our sharp blades.

Why should I stop using canned shaving cream?
Canned, foaming shaving creams are full of alcohol and chemical preservatives. Alcohol strips away the healthy layer of skin which keeps the moisture in, leaving your face dried out - leading to irritated skin and premature aging.

Do I need a shaving brush?
Depends on your shaving cream. If you’re using a concentrated soap like our Ultra Lather Shaving Cream, you will need a brush to create a foamy lather. Not only that, a shaving brush further helps prep your skin for a shave by softening and lifting up hairs.

What’s so great about this post shave?
Our Aloe Vera-based post shave tonic is the perfect way to end your shave. The alcohol-free formula, instead loaded with all-natural ingredients, hydrates and nourishes freshly shaved skin, protecting it from dryness and irritation.

Why should I stop using my cheap after shave?
The reason alcohol is included in many post-shave products is due to it's astringent and antiseptic properties. The problem with this is that alcohol also can exacerbate razor burn and make it challenging for your skin to retain crucial moisture. Even worse, alcohol can, in some cases, tighten skin to a point where the dryness creates a barrier-like surface. This barrier makes it difficult for hair to pierce through the skin layer, leading to the development of ingrown hairs.

A pleasant surprise

I have been holding out on trying wet shaving for over a year now. I finally gave in and now I wish I had started this earlier. Wet shaving makes shaving fun and something I look forward to doing every morning.

The bowl is a wonderful design and works well. It could be a smidge bigger. The brush works well and feels good on my face. The lathering shave cream works up to a nice lather and I love the smell. The Healing Post Shave I have used before and love it, too.

Effortless shaves, no more bumps on my neck

I’ve been a subscriber of supply’s for almost a year now and absolutely love the razor, brush, shaving cream, shaving bowl, and the aftershave spray. I used to get a lot of bumpy spots on my neck when using Harry’s and gillettes blades, but they’ve completely gone away with supply’s razor. The brush and bowl really add to the experience overall and give me smooth shaves each time.
