The travel case is a great item to have to protect your razor while traveling! Just the right size to drop into my shaving bag. It is well made and I can also include a pack of extra razors. Grab one for your razor!

I have the leather case, which is very nice, but rather stiff and heavy. This case is much lighter and more flexible while still fully protecting the razor. Therefore it is better for travel, especially air travel, where every bit of weight you can save in packing can add up to a lot. Construction seems sturdy and I have used it several times already without incident.
