How long will a refill last me?
About three months for most people. One jar of Ultra Lather and eight blades land at roughly the same cadence and that's why we bundle them. Subscribe and they show up when you'd be reordering anyway.

Do I have to use this shaving cream with the Single Edge?
No, but the Single Edge cuts cleaner with a dense lather. Ultra Lather is built for that. Canned foam isn't.

Why should I stop using canned shaving cream?
Canned foam is mostly alcohol and preservatives. Alcohol dries the skin. Dry skin drags on a single-edge blade. Ultra Lather is plant-based and built to do the opposite: soften the hair, protect the skin, let the blade move clean.

Are your products tested on animals?
We never test our products on animals.

Wet your face with warm water.
Take a fingertip scoop of cream and spread it across your cheeks, chin, and neck. The water softens the concentrate.
Run a shaving brush under warm water and brush your face in tight circular motions. The lather should be dense, not airy - that's the consistency a single blade needs.
If you're using a bowl or mug, smear the scoop into the container first, build the lather there, then apply to your skin with the brush.
Shave with the grain. One pass. Let the blade do the work.

What's Not In It

No petroleum jelly. No sulfates. No phthalates. No parabens. We leave out the cheap stuff most cans of foam are built on.

What's In It

Kaolin Clay
Softens stubble and lifts dirt out of the pores so the blade has a clean surface to cut. A natural exfoliator. Works on all skin types.

Shea Butter
A grease-free moisturizer from West Africa. Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Keeps the skin calm between shaves.

Jojoba Oil
From the North American desert. Anti-bacterial, hypoallergenic, won't clog pores. Calms the skin after the blade.

You Never Touch the Blade

Every other single-blade razor asks you to unwrap a bare blade and seat it by hand. The QuickLoad injector does that work. Slide the magazine into the head, push the slider, the blade seats itself. Two seconds. No exposed edge.

Twice as Thick

Standard razor blades are 0.13mm. The Single Edge blade is 0.25mm, almost double. Cleaner cut. Most men get eight to ten shaves out of a single blade.
