What type of blades are these?
Premium injector-style blades, made for us in Seki City, Japan. Each magazine holds eight. A pack lasts most shavers about three months or roughly fifteen cents per shave.

What's different about Platinum Label?
Titanium coating and a 19-degree cutting angle. The coating holds the edge longer than uncoated stainless. The steeper angle cuts closer to the skin. Sharper steel, more aggressive cut, less forgiving than our Black Label blades.

What's the difference between Platinum Label Blades and Black Label Blades?
Black Label is the everyday blade and what most SE owners shave with. Platinum Label is sharper, more aggressive, less forgiving. Same dimensions, same magazine, same QuickLoad slot. Switch between them without changing anything else. Start on Black Label. Move to Platinum once the angle and pressure are dialed in.

How long do they last?
Most men get ten to twelve shaves per blade. A pack of eight lasts about three months at five to six shaves per week. Change the blade when the pull starts to feel different.

How do I dispose of used razor blades? Do they create waste?
The back of the magazine has a slot for used blades. Insert each one as you change it. When the pack is empty, the whole thing goes in the recycling.

Insert the key end of the magazine into the head of the Single Edge SE.
Push the slider toward the razor. The blade seats itself.
Done. Two seconds. No exposed edge.

Titanium-Coated Edge

Standard stainless dulls with use. The titanium PVD coating holds the edge longer and you get more shaves before the pull starts to feel different. The 19-degree cutting angle is steeper than Black Label, which means the blade meets the hair closer to the skin. Sharper steel, more aggressive cut, less forgiving.

When to Move Up

Start on Black Label. Once the angle and pressure are dialed in, usually after a pack or two, Platinum gives you a closer cut for the same effort. The technique is the same. The margin for error is smaller. The result is closer to a straight razor or the Single Edge MAX.

You Never Touch the Blade

Every other single-blade razor asks you to unwrap a bare blade and seat it by hand. The QuickLoad injector does that work. Slide the magazine into the head, push the slider, the blade seats itself. Two seconds. No exposed edge.

Best injector blades

These are the best injector blades I ever tried in my Supply SE. the black labels are decent but these platinum labels seem sharper and are leagues ahead of the Schick blades, these k es are my new go to.
