Single Edge MAX Razor + Trimmer Set

The shave:

1. Splash your face with warm water. Skip canned foam.
2. Wet the brush, swirl into the Ultra Lather, and build the lather on your face in slow circles for about thirty seconds.
3. Hold by the head. Pinch the triangular head between your thumb and forefinger. The handle stays loose. Light pressure. Let the pivot follow your contours. Shave with the grain on the first pass. Use short strokes. Do not press.
4. Rinse the head every few strokes. Lather builds up faster under the pivoting head. Relather between passes.
5. Rinse with cool water, pat dry, and apply two pumps of Healing Post-Shave Spray.

The shape:
Use the Trimmer to set your beard line, control length, and clean up edges. Dry or wet. Pick a guard length on the dial, work against the grain for an even cut, and finish the cheek and neck lines freehand. Rinse the blade under water when you're done.

What is the difference between the Supply MAX and the Supply SE?
The MAX has a pivoting head and exposes more of the blade at skin level for a closer shave, but requires more control. The SE has a fixed head with NickStop fins that hold the blade at a consistent angle, and is Supply's most forgiving razor. The MAX is for shavers who already have the technique. What blades does the Supply MAX use?
Three-hole injector blades, made for the MAX. The third hole locks the blade onto the pivoting head so it stays in place. Standard two-hole injector blades do not fit. Buy them from Supply.

How long do Supply razor blades last?
Eight to ten shaves per blade. A pack of eight lasts about three months at 5–6 shaves a week. Replace at the first sign of tugging, not on a schedule. A sharp blade is safer than a dull one.

What does the Trimmer do that the razor doesn't?
The razor shaves down to the skin. The Trimmer shapes and edges: beard line, sideburns, neck, and length control with 12 settings on a dial. The razor is for the shave, the Trimmer is for everything you want to keep and define. Most men use both in the same routine.

Can I shave my whole face with the Trimmer?
No. The Trimmer is built to shape and edge, not to take you down to skin. For a full-face shave, the MAX is the tool. Use the Trimmer to set lines and manage length around it.

Do I need the brush and the cream, or can I use what I already have?
The brush and cream are in the kit because they change the shave more than people expect. A brush-built lather softens the hair before the blade reaches it. Canned foam sits on the surface and doesn't. You can shave with a Supply razor and a different lather. You'll get the most from the kit using all the pieces together.

Will the Supply razor help with razor bumps and ingrown hairs?
Single-blade shaving is one of the most effective ways to reduce both. Cartridges with stacked blades cut hair below the skin surface, which causes hair to curl back and grow inward. The MAX cuts at skin level with one blade. Shaving with the grain on the first pass and mapping the neck hair direction make the biggest difference.
