1. Hold by the head. Pinch the triangular head between your thumb and forefinger. The handle stays loose. You control the angle from there.
2. Light pressure. Let the head pivot. The MAX exposes more blade than the SE. The pivot follows your contours. Keep the angle steady and the pressure light. If you press, you'll feel it.
3. With the grain first. Map your hair direction. First pass with the grain. Closer second pass across the grain. Against the grain only on tolerant skin.
4. Short strokes. Rinse often. One to two inches at a time. Rinse the head under warm water every few strokes. Lather builds up faster under a pivoting head.

Is a single edge razor better than a cartridge razor?
A single edge cuts cleanly at the skin's surface. Cartridges stack blades that multiply friction and drag. Most men who switch report less irritation, razor burn, and bumps, especially on the neck. What blades does the Supply Single Edge MAX use?
