What type of blades are these?
Standard injector-style blades, made for us in Seki City, Japan. Each magazine holds eight. A pack lasts most shavers about three months or roughly ten cents per shave.

Are they proprietary?
No. Injector blades have been in production for a hundred years. You can buy them here, on Amazon, or from any wet-shaving specialty retailer.

How long do they last?
Most men get eight to ten shaves per blade. A pack of eight lasts about three months at five to six shaves per week. Change the blade when the pull starts to feel different.

How are these blades different from DE blades?
Twice as thick. Less flex, cleaner cut, longer edge life. Injector blades were originally developed by Schick in the early 1900s as a safer alternative to the Gillette double edge.

How do I dispose of used razor blades? Do they create waste?
The back of the magazine has a slot for used blades. Insert each one as you change it. When the pack is empty, the whole thing goes in the recycling.

Insert the key end of the magazine into the head of the Single Edge.
Push the slider toward the razor. The blade seats itself.
Done. Two seconds. No exposed edge.

You Never Touch the Blade

Every other single-blade razor asks you to unwrap a bare blade and seat it by hand. The QuickLoad injector does that work. Slide the magazine into the head, push the slider, the blade seats itself. Two seconds. No exposed edge.

Twice as Thick

Standard razor blades are 0.13mm. The Single Edge blade is 0.25mm, almost double. Cleaner cut. Most men get eight to ten shaves out of a single blade.

One Magazine, Three Months of Shaving

Eight blades. Shave five to six times a week and you'll get through a pack in about ninety days. The back of the magazine has a slot for used blades. Drop them in as you go. Recycle the whole magazine when it's empty.

Stoked to have found Supply Razors

It's a been a couple years now that I switched to Supply and love the feel of the single blade vs traditional ones. The black label blades seem to last longer and the blade reload system is pretty slick. Only critique is that each blade pack only has 8 blades and so you do end up with more plastic waste from the case than if they put more in each case or made some way to reload them or if they had a recycle program.
