Liked the product. Still having trouble getting to where I can honestly say it a better shave . There are times I need to shave twice to come close to a clean, smooth shave

I am now 73 years old. More than 50 years ago my father taught me how to shave with a double edge safety razor. I used that style of razor for many years and was very satisfied with it. In the early 70s safety razors with twin blades were introduced followed by triple bladed razors in the late 90s. Then came four bladed razors, five bladed razors, six bladed razors – and now a seven bladed razor. Advertisements heralded the addition each additional blade as a technological breakthrough that promised closer shaves, smoother skin, a necessity for personal happiness and fulfillment.

I bought into this trend until the advent of four bladed razors. I stuck with a three bladed razor for many years. However, I found that the addition of all these blades did not live up to the hype that accompanied them.

When I read the reviews of the Supply razor I was intrigued because it seemed to promise the shaving experience I had so many years ago. I was also very skeptical due to advertising hype and exaggerations that are so common these days. For this reason I held off buying one for a long time.

A short while ago I took the plunged and bought one. I honestly expected to be disappointed in it – both in the quality of its construction and in the shaving experience that it provides.

I am happy to report that I was wrong on both accounts. The quality of the razor is superb and the shaving experience is exception. The razor has an excellent weight and balance, the blade is incredibly sharp, and the shaving experience is a joy.

What can I say? It is a great product….

Love the supply starter set! I used to get really bad irritations on my neck when I would shave and hated when I would have to do it. The supply razor has definitely made my shaving experience way more enjoyable and upgraded in the process too! Definitely worth the investment!

Nicely put together and good idea regarding recyclables and taking care of the environment. However the shave doesn't work as well as I'd hoped.

Actually, no joke. I’m not gonna lie I thought a lot of what I was seeing was kind of a marketing ploy and that I just fell into the trap. We’ll let’s just say I’m glad I didn’t totally follow those instincts and went through with trying your product because it’s actually kind of nuts. As someone coming from using the $2 bag of disposable bic razors and some barbasol, this kit totally altered the way I view shaving. Truly irritation-less, super close, super smooth shave. There does seem to be a very slight learning curve to the razor but after you figure it out and shave with it once or twice it’s a surreal experience. And no I’m not just kissing ass, I actually mean all that. My only suggestion to you would be to make a white birch and sage cologne or something because that shit smells fantastic.

I am 60 years old, and have been shaving daily since my teens. In my early years my shaving routine was very basic. I later spent time in the Army and needed to improve my shaving technique in order to get a closer shave, so I started to take steps to get better. Over the years my shaving routine has developed into a somewhat elaborate, and daily ritual. I burn a candle, and then prepare my face with a hot, wet cloth. I only use a shaving brush, and good, quality shaving soap. (I tried to grow a beard after getting out of the Army, but I couldn’t stand the hair on my face)
Nowadays, I will normally skip shaving one day a week to give my face a break.
My problem was with the razors. In order to get the smooth results, I desired, I had to run the razor over my face multiple times. Usually up and down, left to right, then right to left and even diagonally. The worse part was the space between my upper lip and nose. The five bladed razors were too big, so I used a smaller single or two-bladed razor for this area as well as the skin around my lips and corner of my mouth. So, for me to get the close shave I wanted I had to use not only a five-bladed razor, but a cheap single or two bladed razors. Of course, this also meant that I would often get razor burn on my skin. Not to add the extra cost of buying different types of razors.
Then I got the Single Edge SE, and my life changed. The first time I used it I was amazed at how close a shave I got with only one pass of the razor, and to achieve the total results I want I only have to run the razor over my face a second time from side to side. Plus, it handles the areas under my nose and around my lips with surprising ease. At first, I thought it was too heavy, but after shaving a couple times I see how the weight of the razor works for you as no pressure is needed when shaving. I am extremely pleased with this razor, and have been excited each morning to begin my routine and shave. The results exceeded my expectations, and I am very happy with my purchase. I already ordered some replacement blades, and the Grip Sleeve.

I was originally hesitant about picking up a Supply razor since everywhere I looked mentioned “it’s not your typical razor”. Upon using it, I don’t know why I didn’t get it sooner. Every shave is very clean and I love how the razor feels in my hand having a great weight.

Did my first shave with the Single Edge today and it was ridiculously great!
Followed the instruction and used the first setting and it was off to the races.
I have been using a double-edged razor for probably fifteen years or better.
Various blades, handles, creams, pre-shave, and after-shave lotions during this time with one constant.
Nicks!
I shave my head and have never managed to do a complete shave without at least one (sometimes several) nick until today.
Complete head, neck, face shave and not a scratch!
I’ll probably experiment as time goes by to work on a little closer shave but this was amazing.

Received my new razor today. Some might call me an old guy. In my past life I shaved this way! All through high school and my stint in the service it was the only right way to shave. I am so glad that I found the right way again! Great shave. 🪒 Glad to be back home again!
