I was skeptical at first and have used 5 blade razors all my life… they did indeed cause nasty razor burn and did not shave efficiently at all. Found myself doing multiple up and down passes just to get all my thick facial hair. I noticed the more passes I did the more it got irritated. Even had several ingrown hairs at one point. I picked up the SE starter set and followed the directions to the latter. It was a single pass with the razor and I felt all the hair disappear, I will say it takes some getting used to with the unique safety razor design and the shave wasn’t perfect at first. But as with all things practice makes perfect. I’m hoping that with time I can expert the method of using this razor to its best ability. All in all, it is a great product and I would strongly recommend. But it has a learning curve. The after shave mist felt so refreshing too and smells amazing. I have the Sandalwood and Birch scent. The best razor I ever used. I was able to use it on the small bumps on my face with no skin damage.
I hate this up by running water from the hot water tap before I whip up my lather. The bowl retains heat and keeps the shaving cream warm
I have never used anything but spray can shaving cream before this and I have to say that this stuff is 10x better. It takes longer sure but the result is so worth. It’s very soothing and has turned shaving into a spa like experience for me. 10/10 I will be buying again
I love this new Razor! Way better than my original and with the safety, I never have to worry about any nicks or cuts and it shaves super close for a clean shave! I look forward to shaving with this each time!
I have the SE, and the adjustable. I have tried every type of razor for my head, ie: Headblade, Gillette, Harry’s, Single Edge, Double Edge. In terms of closeness without any irritation, I can honestly say The Single Edge Max is the best razor for me. Everyone has different hair types, shapes, and needs so YMMV. For me, this entire system is perfect! I can get a 2 pass baby bottom smooth shave w/touch-up and NO irritation. Products smell awesome and are all natural!

Still in my learning curve phase,,I like the head swivel or flexes a bit to get the curves of my face,,ie chin & jawline area

With a wife, a toddler, and one bathroom, I have little-to-no space in my bathroom. Stand looks great and allows me to keep my razor upright, clean, and displayed in my bathroom.

Just got a single edge Max in today. A little bit of a learning curve. Use the wrong shaving cream. But ordered new shaving cream. Excited for that to come in. The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is you can only use their blades. But I do not mind supporting this business. Absolutely love you guys keep up the good work.

Only used it a few days and still having trouble getting shave closer than the old multiflex razor.
