Since calculating this mind-blowing reality, the EPA has not tracked the impact of disposable razors on the environment — leaving us with no update on this number.
But do you think that number has decreased over 30 years later? Probably not. And that's just how much the EPA could track. How much of it do you think gets dumped into oceans?
The Bad News
Disposable razors are simply terrible for your skin and our beloved planet. The amount of plastic discarded by using disposable cartridges is almost unfathomable.
Nearly one million pounds of plastic waste every year.
On top of that, add the amount of blade refills needed and consumed on a daily basis. Each and every one of these end up in a land fill, along with the billions of plastic razors discarded.

Some fun facts about stainless steel: It is harmless to people during use as well as production. It has a natural coat to avoid rust and corrosion, ensuring a long life, and it is even estimated that about 80% of stainless steel is recycled at the end of their life cycle. Last, but not least, stainless steel not only minimizes waste, but also our emission footprint.
With our unique injector blade pack, you won't have to worry about any sharp objects lying in your trash unattended, waiting for an unsuspecting toddler or pet to find. Our blade pack comes with an opening for used blades to be stored until you've finished your entire pack of blades.
Once you get through all of your blade, just throw the entire blade pack with the stored, used blades into the recycling bin. Safe. Secure. And most importantly, better for the environment.
