The product is great but it took me a few tries to learn how to shave well with it. When I received it I noticed that the lather appeared to have been used already with signs left by a finger digging into it, which is how it’s supposed to be used. Even the brush came in a disheveled packaging and had a crusty speck on it. When I informed Supply of this they said the lather must have been like that because of an air bubble that burst and that they didn’t know why the brush would be like that. I don’t buy that haha but they sent me new ones for free anyway.

Even though I lather my face just with my fingers rather than a brush it covers perfectly, smells great, shaves perfectly and doesn’t leave my face dry.

Can’t say much right now I haven’t had a chance to use it. Just finished my last treatment. I’m radiation and chemo but as soon as I get a chance, I will write a baby for eight bucks. It looks great. I had been looking for a single edge for a long time now.

After returning to wet shaving a few years ago,I have finally found an unscented calming and soothing aftershave product. Application is very easy and there is truly no scent. This is nearly unheard of in the industry as most have some type of aroma. After trying this product, as a single edge shaving person, I plan to try the Supply SE and see if it’s finally time to retire my vintage Gillette injector razor. Congratulations on an excellent product.

I love the razor, I was very skeptical of single razor at first but needed a change because I kept getting nicks and skin irritation. I haven’t had any of those problems since I’ve started using the Supply razor. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a razor or looking for a change.

Supper easy to change and works very well on the trimmer. I mostly use it with the adjustable guard on for and even trims. The trimmer is also great for fine shaping without the guard.

Tried the SE and had some comfort issues. Switched to the new Max and instant success. Its a winner

This is the best Razor in the market, I just updated to the new Single Edge Max and is a game changer. All the gear are amazing , I enjoy all the products on the daily routine, love them.

The last time that I had a shave this good was with a straight razor

In January of 2023 I ordered the Supply SE, as I wanted a razor that didn't use proprietary blades or cartridges and the SE fir the bill.
I could NEVER warm up to the injection process of the blades and hated every shave I had with that razor. I either had "no shave" or my face was on fire. Supply was kind enough to supply ( :-D ) an additional blade pack but ultimately, I determined that a fixed razor head is not for me, and I kept using a way more expensive competitor with proprietary blades.

Fast forward to 2025. I am using pivoting razors with a single blade (in one case half a DE blade, the other one a proprietary blade) and I am more open to a razor that works - proprietary blades or not.

This is where the actual review begins. I ordered the Max and in addition the stand and the Platinum blades to be able to try both.
The razor itself is solid, albeit a bit top heavy. I also wished they made the top and bottom in the same color, but thats a really minor gripe. I had a bit of trouble opening the razor to load the blade, but I figured it out. The blade also needed a bit of vertical alignment from me to line up with the three knobs in the head.

But then - the shave!
Maybe it is my years of experience using pivoting head, but this razor mowed through my 1.5-day stubble like it is nothing and after two passed (WTG and ATG) I only needed minor touch-ups in my usual trouble-spots next to my chin.
it feels more aggressive than the two competitors but is still smooth to the skin. If the blades hold their promised lifespan, I can see myself making this my daily razor.

As much as I do not mind the fact that I can only but the blades here, I would like to see if the switchblade system and refills be made out of a material other than plastic. I think it detracts a bit from the whole sustainibility point that I think is a large driving force behind singel edge razors.

Had a problem with my old razor, had some trouble getting to customer service but they did great, still love their products

The Single Edge SE

So, I just have to write in to say that I have been using DE safety razors for about 15 years to combat irritation. I have used 100 year old Gillettes and $150+ modern stainless models. I have used slanted razors, adjustable razors, 3 piece, and ttos. In my quest, I owned a few different SE razors, including Schick injectors and regular single edge. I finally stuck with an out-of-production Weber DLC that irritated me less than any of them.

I recently decided I might try some of the newer razors on the market that have come out since my collecting waned. I considered several nice-looking DE and SE models, including Henson, SHVE, and Leaf. I finally decided to try your product, solely on appearance. It was the nicest looking one of the bunch.

Let me just say, wow. Coming from DE shaving, the technique was not difficult to get at all. Mind you, I've used it once, but I am amazed. The smoothness is unmatched. I had my wife, who also uses DE, try it as well. She has thought I was exaggerating until she tried it. Thank you so much for an amazing shave. Now I have to get her one, and myself another for my travel bag.

I've been using a single edge razor for years, and the SE Pro for the last three. The new Max is a game changer. I've been using it for the past three weeks and the shave is so much closer. The pivoting head allows you to really keep to the contours of your face. I used to make multiple passes is different directions to get a closer shave so I didn't need to dial the closeness down too much. I don't need to do that with the Max. I get a really close shave but no nicks.

I’ve started using my new shaver the day after I received it. I like the feel, smooth action and close shave I experienced. The holder was an added bonus too. I followed the suggestions you sent prior to shipping and they worked great. I’m getting better handling my razor with use. Good job!

Have been using Gillette skinguard and liked it but I like this even better.

Over the years I have shaved with almost every type of razor . My best shaves were with the old Wilkinson single edge cartridge razor. This razor set exceeds anything by far. The angle of the blade is so smooth you don’t even feel the blade removing the whiskers. And the shave cream, fugetabout it.

I absolutely love it. I upgraded to the Single Edge Max and it’s a dream come true. Closer shave with zero nicks or cuts. You’ve knocked it out of the park.

Much cleaner shave than the last prototype. Indeed, your original razor was great, the second version not as clean, but this one beats them all. Thought it would be confusing to put in the blade but it hasn’t been.

The Razor is really good, I like it a lot. Very satisfied.
So, two things, one the razor is slippery and you do need the sleeve to make it stable in the hand. Two, I need a little more information on the adjustment screw to figure out if I’m getting a closer shave or one that isn’t cutting anything

I purchased a single edge SE razor. It does a wonderful job. Doesn’t clog up and washes out easily. I don’t get razor burns either. And can shave my face and head multiple times with one blade . Love this razor.

Don’t worry about the razor! It’s as advertised, recommend to me by my roommate. Would buy again!

After 2 weeks of using this razor I think I am getting the "hang" of it. I used a multi-blade razor for 50 years and this is becoming easier and easier to use. I am a "before I go to bed" shaver and my shave is becoming what I was hoping it would be--close and smooth without the irritation that I would get with my previous razors. I think the Supply cream and soothing post shave products are fantastic. Especially the scents. It took some getting use to (after 50 years), but I really like the entire shaving system you provide. Love the new blade. The flexible head really helps to get a close shave. Much improved vs the original (which was great). Plus it seems the blades last longer.
