What type of blades are these?
The Single Edge accepts standard "injector" style blades. Each razor ships with a magazine of 8 stainless steel, Japanese-made injector blades. A pack of blades typically lasts up to three months and only cost roughly 10 cents per shave.

Are they proprietary?
Nope! These blades have been in production for 100 years and can be easily purchased on our website , Amazon.com, and more.

How long do they last?
Everybody changes out their blades at different intervals due to the fact that our skin, hair, and preferences are all different. That said, most customers easily get 8 to 10 shaves out of each blade. A single pack of eight blades can last up to three months if you shave 5-6 times a week.

How are these blades different from DE blades?
Our blades are twice as thick as blades that are used in both multi-blade and single blade razors, which means they flex less, they cut cleaner, and they last longer. Fun fact: injector blades were originally invented by Schick in the early 1900’s. They quickly developed a cult following as a safer alternative to the Gillette double edge blades.

How do I dispose of used razor blades? Do they create waste?
Each Single Edge ships with a magazine of 8 stainless steel injector razor blades. If you look at the back of the pack, you will see a nifty opening to insert used blades. No sharp objects lying in your trash can or recycling bin unattended or waiting for an unsuspecting toddler or pet to find. Once you are through with all of your blades, you can recycle the entire magazine, blades and all. Safe and better for the environment!

  1. Insert the key from your blade pack into the head of the Single Edge Razor.
  2. Push the slider across - toward the razor - to inject a blade.
  3. You just swapped out your blade in less than 2 seconds without touching the actual blade!

Not the place to cut corners

Shaving has always been so expensive, I've been acclimatized to cut corners anywhere I could. Blades, it turns out, is not the place. I tried some from the other guys, found on that big online store. It wasn't going great so I spent a little more and bought these. Amazing difference. Seriously, a close comfortable shave, better injector, no fumbling to get the mechanism to work correctly. While more expensive, the experience is so so much better.

A pleasant experience!

I used to use a 5-blade razor, and besides the ridiculous price they had numerous issues. Then I saw an ad for Supply and thought I'd give them a try. It took a little bit to get used to it, but I was very pleased with the results! Now I wouldn't shave with anything else. Being a head shaver, I'm very fussy with what I shave with, and the results I get with supply are the best I've ever had.

Easy to use. Very sharp!

I'm about 8 shaves into my new razor and so far, so good. I'm very pleased with the shaves. It took me a couple of shaves to get used to it, but now it's a breeze. The blades are easy to change out and have a storage for the old blades. How cool! Great product!!!

Great Shave

I usually carry a bit more than a 5 o'clock shadow on my face and dreaded shaving my neck, not anymore. Since I found Supply it’s transformed my routine and I actually enjoy shaving. These blades are super easy to load and deliver a great clean shave. It’s great the blade holder also has a place for used blades too.
