What type of blades are these?
Three-hole injector blades, made for us in Seki City, Japan. Sealed eight to a refill. A refill lasts most shavers about three months or roughly ten cents per shave.

Are they proprietary?
The MAX accepts any standard injector blade if you load it by hand, but only Supply's three-hole blades lock onto all three posts on the pivoting head. Two-hole blades fit, but they shift during the shave. The SwitchBlade cartridge auto-loads Supply refills only.

How long do they last?
Most men get eight to ten shaves per blade. A refill of eight lasts about three months at five to six shaves per week. Change the blade when the pull starts to feel different.

How are these blades different from DE blades?
Twice as thick. Less flex, cleaner cut, longer edge life. Injector blades were originally developed by Schick in the early 1900s as a safer alternative to the Gillette double edge.

How do I dispose of used razor blades?
The back of the refill has a slot for used blades. Insert each one as you change it. When all eight are spent, the refill goes in the recycling. The SwitchBlade cartridge stays.

Ultra Lather Shaving Cream

Dense lather, no foam. A fingertip is enough. Wet the brush, swirl into the jar, and build the lather on your face for about thirty seconds. The density is what lets a single blade cut cleanly without pulling.

Plant-based. Kaolin clay softens the stubble. Shea and jojoba calm the skin. One jar lasts about three months.

Easy Blade Disposal

When it's time to dispose of your used-up blade, look for the small horizontal opening at the end of tray and push your used blade through the slot for safety. Each tray can hold up to 8 used blades at a time. After your last blade, you can throw the entire refill tray in the trash but keep the cartridge.

Healing Post Shave

Single-blade shaving leaves the skin clean but raw. This goes on after the last pass. Alcohol-free and plant-based with witch hazel, glycerin, and aloe to replace the moisture the shave removes. Most aftershaves are mostly alcohol, which dries the skin and triggers more oil.

Two pumps after every shave. Two ounces lasts about three months.
