What's Nickstop™ Technology? How do the fins protect my skin?
16 fins drive our new Nickstop™ technology. They are precisely placed on the SE’s safety bar to lift and guide hair to the blade. They work with the bar to flatten your skin, creating a smooth surface for the blade to glide across. The result is a safe, smooth shave no matter where you’re shaving.

What blades does it accept?
The Single Edge accepts "injector" style blades. These are not proprietary to us and have been in production for over 100 years.

How long do the blades last?
Everybody changes out their blades at different intervals due to the fact that our skin, hair, and preferences are all different. That said, most customers easily get 8 to 10 shaves out of each blade. A single pack of eight blades can last up to three months if you shave 5-6 times a week.

Love your shaver!

I tried your standard razor recently and absolutely love it! The weight, solid feel and overall design are awesome!

And I get the smoothest, closest shave I’ve ever had. I’m old enough to remember single-bladed injector-loading razors; yours is such a refreshing return to my youth. The razor head just glides so smoothly, with no irritation or nicks. In fact, after my first shave, I ordered a second one for travel, with your travel case!

I also can remember an early SNL sketch that ridiculed multiple-bladed razors (I think the subject of the skit was a triple-bladed one; back then it seemed like a ridiculous idea).

Anyway, I’m so glad you reverted to a tried-and-true design. Thank you.

Best razor I have used so far

Absolutely love this razor. Even with only one blade it cuts better the those with multiple. It's heavy and feels good in the hand. You don't have to constantly rinse it off by its deign. It simply seams like it rolls the creams/gels to the inside providing a constant layer of protection to your skin. Match it with a good shave butter and a hot towel and you have a Barber quality shave.

So go ahead do yourself a favor throw away all the other razors in your cabinet. Ditch the expensive razor head refills and buy a supply razor. It's one purchase you won't regret buying.

Smoothest Glide Ever

From the moment you pick up the razor you can immediately feel the quality and craftsmanship that went into your razor. This was a great upgrade from my previous razors. My favorite quality is how smooth it is when shaving. Something I even forget that there’s an actual blade in there. Smoothest shave ever.
