In 2015, Patrick Coddou was frustrated by the poor performance of mainstream grooming products. Instead of settling, he took action. Quitting his job selling stealth fighter jets, Patrick teamed up with his wife Jennifer to launch Supply — a grooming brand dedicated to premium, long-lasting shaving essentials for men.
Building a Brand on Quality and Performance
What began as a mission to make better razors quickly turned into a movement. By 2017, Supply had launched a Kickstarter campaign that was 600% funded in just one week, proving that customers were eager for an upgrade in their shaving experience. Their first Shave Accessories Kit hit the market shortly after.
Shark Tank & National Recognition
In 2019, Patrick and Jennifer pitched their razor on ABC’s Shark Tank. Despite an awkward start, the product’s quality quickly impressed the Sharks. Lori Greiner dubbed the Single Edge Razor “the Cadillac of razors,” and after a bidding war, Robert Herjavec invested in the company.
