Materials

The Max’s handle is constructed from sandblasted aluminum and the shoulder is made from stamped aluminum with a glossy finish. The razor’s head is constructed from diecast zinc. 

The Max’s cartridge is made of ABS plastic with an electroplated finish.

How to Use Your New Single Edge Max

Step 1: Your Grip Matters

The grip on your razor defines its pressure on your face. We recommend “pinching” the triangular head of the razor with your thumb and forefinger, or holding the razor farther down on the handle.

Step 2: Keep it Light

No pressure! Unlike the SE, where you may have had to play with the angle for the best shave, the Max is a lot more forgiving. It’s designed to do the work for you, making for an even easier shave without having to press down hard.

Step 3: Feel the Glide

The Max should glide easily through your facial hair. If you notice any tugging, you may need to trim your hair down to avoid it getting stuck underneath the blade.

Step 4: Love Your Shave

Continue to shave as needed, for the rest of your life. One razor, a lifetime worth of results.

Pro Tip: If you notice shaving cream building up under the head of the Single Edge Max, we recommend rinsing the head of the razor under warm water to break up the excess product. For a deeper rinse, pop open the head of the razor with your thumb, rinse the flat plane thoroughly, and shave normally.

Second chance

Had to give the razor a second chance now I’m beginning to get some nice shaves from the razor I’ve had to change the blade a few times because it was so rough so yes it must off been the blades I had once I got a good blade the shave has been great nice and smooth but I do worry about ordering new blades can’t keep throwing them out so sorry about previous 1 star

Best single blade razor so far

I’ve only tried the Henson and Supply single edged razors so far; Henson was first and it did a good job, but it wasn’t as close as my last multi blade razor (but still better than my electric razor). After I used up all my Henson blades I bought a Supply razor. I’ve only used it twice but I can see it gives a closer shave than Henson.

I love(d) my single edge SE and I had gotten to a point where I wasn’t nicking myself with it ever. I thought it would be the last razor I’d ever buy, but enter in the Single Edge Max and this is the last I’ll ever buy ( short of new colors and replacement models in the distant future). It’s quite literally perfect in my humble opinion. I don’t fall into the thick beard-growing crowd, but it does a great job on the stubble I allow to grow; though, I imagine, just like the demo video, it has no problem getting through thicker foliage. Thank you for not resting on a great product in the SE. All shavers of every gender will benefit from this new razor. Looking forward to more R&D developments, Supply Team! :)

Best Razor Ever!!

I have the other Supply razor, the Pro, which is a fine razor on its own! Honestly though, this razor is far superior in my opinion. It’s close to being perfect, for me. Without pushing down on my skin, this razor does all the work, and it’s comfortable enough to shave every day. I can shave with foam or without (just a wet face), although I wouldn’t recommend that on a regular basis. I’m sold! I also love the fact that I can hang my razor on my bathroom pantry door, which allows it to dry and keeps it handy but out of the way. I also love the black, which is the color I chose. This is the razor I’ve been waiting for! I love My morning so much more because of this razor

Best Supply Razor yet

I’ve been a Supply user for quite a while - I have a 2.0 and a Pro which get regular use. I couldn’t resist the Max, with its pivoting head - and I’m really happy with it. I get a clean, comfortable shave with a minimum of effort, and I find its weight and proportions the best yet from Supply. I can’t imagine what you’ll do to top this!

My only regret is that I wish I’d bought the sterling version - but that’s purely an aesthetic choice.

Very high performance product

have all type of singles razor from supply and shaving for a few years now. Only issue I had was curving around my chin line. The Single Edge Max has got the “moves”. Easy to use, no blood and gore. Excellent comfortable shave. I can confirm that with Single Edge Max say goodbye for irritations. I have the only problem that happened to me is that there some chips or scratch around where the two different pieces come together.
