Do I need a shaving brush? Depends on your shaving cream. If you’re using a concentrated soap like our Ultra Lather Shaving Cream, you will need a brush to create a foamy lather. Not only that, a shaving brush further helps prep your skin for a shave by softening and lifting up hairs.

Is the brush animal and cruelty free? Yes! The bristles of this brush are made out of synthetic fibers instead of animal hair — and we NEVER test our products on animals.

  1. Run brush under water - warm water is retained by the synthetic bristles.
  2. Once the brush is damp, whether you’re whipping up a lather on your face, in a shaving mug or our Marble Shaving Bowl, use strong, circular motions to create your lather and apply it onto your skin for the best results.

I had been using a real badger shaving brush for a while and always felt it was a bit rough on my face. I decided to try the Supply shacing brush since I use the Single Edge SE and I LOVE the brush. It's so comfortable on my face and creates a fantastic lather. Supply just always comes through with great products. I plan to try the shaving cream next and no doubt will be happy.

Out with the old, in with the new

After 4 years use, my original Supply brush was past its best, so it’s time for a replacement for the veteran.

The new one is terrific - I love its heft, and the bristles generate a lovely lather.

I won’t shave without this brush any longer.

For the last two decades I’ve been shaving using a multi blade razor and one or the other form of shave gel/cream. Started using supply razor after seeing some reviews on Fb and absolutely loved it. The brush activates the cream really well and feels awesome against my rather sensitive skin. I’ve noticed a difference between when I use the brush vs when I don’t. The brush does a terrific job of applying the cream close enough to the skin and holds a bit of moisture from when you rinse it initially. This prevents the skin from drying out, which I absolutely love. Highly recommend using this brush with the cream and the marble bowl.

Massive shoutout to supply’s customer service team. The brush which arrived with my se package broke off during shipping. I didn’t open the package for a while after getting it and when I did see it, I reached out to the customer service via email. Got a response within 12 hours, sent them a picture of the damaged product. They sent a new brush for free and gave me free shipping for my next items.

It took a couple of tries until I understood you have to apply some pressure to initiate a lather. Once I learned how to make a good lather, it became a fun routine!

Brush and set up

Love the brush and the shaving cream/marble bowl. I definitely recommend the whole set up, 10/10. My face has finally stopped breaking out, and I’m happy to no longer have to break the bank on razor blades.
